To avoid Timeline, you have to avoid facebook altogether. It's mandatory now.

1) making a new account is a violation of the terms, and they can tell if you just do it anyways... they will lock all of your accounts and force you to verify each one with a unique phone number

2) if you create a new account, it will now automatically be in timeline format - that trick doesnt work anymore

3) timeline has better privacy features than the old format, so i do not understand why you would want the old profile in the first place

maybe you just dont understand how to use it?

Once Timeline is enabled on your account, theres no getting rid of it. Even creating a new account will not work, as new accounts are automatically Timeline enabled.

However, you can view all timeline pages in the old style, single column layout format via this simple guide:
http://fbpurity.com/disable-timeline

The method is safe and it really works, check the feedback the page has got, over 69,500 likes, and hundreds of positive comments.

FB Purity has also been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PC World
