Why is monsanto acting like they like small farmers now?

Monsanto (the largest donor to no on Prop 37) has an ad that says prop 37 will hurt small famers, but I thought that Monsanto has sued many famers.

Because they know that advertising that their projected losses when people realise how much of their food contains their inadequately tested and researched products would cause prop 37 to pass.
Also if all small farmers were pushed out of business, they would have no one to sue.
