How accurate is Facebook and Friends online?
How accurate if Facebook? If it says a friend is online, are they online, or have they just not signed out properly?
Are there any glitches in Facebook regarding this? Could they not have logged out properly?
Also when does it put you as idle(the moon sign)? Does it put you as idle if you don't use it after so long?

Yes there are glitches on showing online friends. Sometimes you may still see friends to be online when they have just signed out or you at your end had some connection issues. You will only get to know when you try to chat with that friend. For this case you might have to refresh the page or go to offline and then online.

Also there were reported issues about friend showing offline in spite of he/she being signed on. Hopefully these glitches will be over in future.
