Why won't models talk back on facebook?

I'll admit i am a really insecure guy so i message people at random i don't even know or have as friends on facebook sometimes... im to shy to talk to people in person... i am a 19 year old guy.

anyways, i stumbled across this models personal facebook account, it looked legit, had loads of friends, stuff she was tagged in, everything.

and i wrote her and said "hey, am i pretty enough to model?" and she never replied to me... it shows she read my message but did not reply to me..

why not? why will they not talk back?

i know i am insecure and need other peoples approvals, but when i ask for a compliment they won't give it to me.

You know.... 99% of the time if it's just some random stranger with no mutual friends whatsoever that you stumble on and is a pretty hot girl, they're usually some old guy behind the computer.. .__.
