Please do not insult me for not knowing what it means, or post rude comment's, But what does twitter handle mean? This guy just asked me what my twitter handle was, and i do not know what he is talking about? Can someone help thanks!

It goes back to the days of long-haul truckers and their CB radios. The nicknames they used when communicating were their "handles." The technology changed but the the word "handle" to signify your social media name stuck.

Your twitter handle is your twitter name. The name that you respond to when tweeting someone and people identify you as. It has the @ sign in front of it, and if you take the @ sign off you can just type in twitter.com/(Twitter Handle) and you'll be at their twitter page.

For example... Talk Show Host Conan O'Brien's Twitter handle is @ConanOBrien and comedian/satirist Stephen Colbert's twitter handle is @Stephenathome.
