Why are a bunch of my facebook friends gone all of a sudden?
I just added a bunch of them recently on a trip, and I logged on this morning to try to talk to them and most of them are not my friend anymore...? They're still on facebook, just not my friends. I don't think they would all just decide to delete me at the same time lol.

Either they deleted you.
Someone has your password.

They have deleted thier profile.

it depends.
-ur friends get off facebook/deleted their profile
-you deleted ur own profile and than got back on facebook therefore lost some friends
-they didn't accept ur friend request
-ur friend request is pending
