How can I expand my "comments and likes" on a post on Facebook Timeline?

On my Timeline, my posts that have comments or likes only show the symbols that there are comments. Then I have to click on it to show them. I would like those posts to actually expand and show the comments automatically not just the symbols. I see my friends with Timeline have this ability so I would like to know how to change mine.

No, you can't actually do that.. You'd only be shown your recent comments and you'll have to click on the link to expand it..
For your friends, perhaps they had very less number of comments..
