Hey don't fret, Facebook isn't about the number of friends on your stats bar. It's about keeping connected with your true friends and sharing your memories with them. Those who accumulate a bunch of friends don't necessarily have all of their posts read by those so-called "friends." Sign up and stick with those you truly know. Then, if you get more comfortable, branch out and connect with those who have similar interests...like people you know on online forums you visit or things like that. Honestly though, sometimes it's just better to stick with those you see and interact with in real life. Have fun and just go for it!

it is people you have met through out your life...even years ago. You don't even have to know them well. And even so...you can keep your profile private no one can see it unless you except there request and have them on your friends list. You can even have businesses you like to go to.. restrants, parks, schools, doc offices, vet offices, schools, ect. Some people are very private and don't allow many people on there fb anyhow. Just close fam and friends. So you really shouldn't be worried at all. Good Luck with your choice!

i would make an account. it doesn't matter how many friends you have. It's just a great way to keep in touch with your friends and family, no matter the number of them.
