Hoe can I get more followers on my tumblr?

HI(: I just made a tumblr yesterday, and I am already obsessed with it, my blog I thought was pretty cool but I only have like 2 followers. http://courtneymelissa13.tumblr.com/ And I worked really hard on it, could you give me some advice on how to gain followers, without telling people from like my other accounts like twitter and facebook to follow me? thanks(:

uhm, search follow on tumblr and just start following a bunch of people that do promos or instantly follow back. they almost always start following you immediately.

So in answer to your question, what I did was use tags like for example, if I had a fashion type picture my tags would be something like: "Fashion, Girl, Style" Stuff like that, using a lot of tags will help quite a lot, I gained around 100 Followers just by doing that, by using tags that is a way for people to actually find your blog, also I'd recommend reblogging people, following people and also if people are nice enough, ask them if they can promote you.
