When you save a picture on Facebook from your iPhone, where does it go?

I just tried saving a photo that someone put on Facebook, but when I clicked on photos from the home screen on my phone, it wasn't there, so I tried to save it again but it still didn't show up. Can you not save photos on Facebook from your iPhone, or does it save it somewhere else? I checked my entire Facebook profile too, and it wasn't saved anywhere on there.
I just tried uploading a picture that I took on my phone to Facebook to test it and see if something was wrong with Facebook, and when I pushed upload from library, it said Facebook didn't have access to my photos on my phone, does this mean that it can't save photos because it doesn't have access to my photos?

It should be the last pic in your pictures that you have when you save it to your phone... Well that what it does on iPhone.
