why? what are the things that attract you to come back to a particular group. my question is based on the suspicion that people register to a group once and they never visit it again never ever ... like for example, here on answers we have something interactive action going on while most facebook groups are very ummm … static. I’m checking with you guys what is the attractive thing about your favorite group.

How do you define favorite? You mean the most popular? The group with the most members is "Six Degrees Of Separation - The Experiment." And you're most likely right -- I doubt ANYONE who joins a group regularly visits the page. Maybe one day they get bored, look up groups, find one that's interesting, and then join it. But to actually visit the page again? Most likely not. I know I barely ever visit group pages again once I join them. I might every once in a while just to see if anything new has been posted, but I don't do it regularly. Joining groups is something to do but no one really keeps up with them.

That is sort of true. I don't visit the groups very much unless I REALLY like the topic. I have a lot of groups (Around 100+), so I technically join groups with a lot of people to keep it worth having on my page. I really like the Japanese Anime ones. I find the funny ones like "I Push the Pedestrian Crossing Button More than Once" interesting, and I search groups for laughs. I think the amount of groups lately is lax. And they need to create more that are interesting. There is so much more out there to do!
