Facebook friends on the list on your left?

Whenever I log on Facebook and see the friend list on the left, I always see certain friends those who have usually been there. Like sometimes it's changed to some other friends, but then it goes back to those friends that have usually been there on the list. My question: what does it mean? Like if they are the ones who view your profile the most or what? Thank you!

it has nothing to do with them viewing your profile. i think it might have more to do with who you associate with more, like maybe you chat with them, or write on each others walls most, but im not totally sure, but it always seems like my closer friends on that list too. hope this helped
