Facebook privacy question? experts out there lol?

I recently broke up with my ex girlfriend. We are still friends on facebook.. When I look at our mutual friends, i see that one of my friends who met her through me is not on her mutual friends, but on my friend's facebook, they are friends. How come my friend is not coming out on mutual friends, but is actually friends with her? Is there a privacy setting that does this? I didn't think there was...

Well, First make sure that your friend has not hidden his friend list. For example Mr. A and Mr. B are friends, and Mr C is mutual friend, Facebook shows Mr A that Mr B have a Mutual Friend, but Mr C have hidden his Friend List so for security reason Mr A can only see a mutual friend from Mr B but never know that is Mr C a mutual friend.
