How do you get rid of Facebook ads?

I'm getting these weird ads on my Facebook News Feed and numerous other places. It's not the normal ads that I usually see. They say "about this ad" on the bottom of them. I clicked on that and it's a company called Redmond Media. I was wondering how to get rid of them. There must be something downloaded in my computer to make that happen, but I can't seem to find it. I used my sister's computer yesterday and they didn't show up on Facebook so that's why I know it has to be my computer. Any help would be great. Thanks!
It was actually something called Yontoo that somehow got downloaded. I just went to control panel and removed it and all is well. Thanks
