How to cope/deal with an inferiority complex when you compare yourself to someone's accomplishments?
Ever have those moments when you stumble upon someone's accomplishments, and it makes you feel inadequate?
That happened to me a few days ago, when I found an old friend's Facebook page, and I was awestruck by her talent in artwork. Although I'm the creative type, I'm not nearly as talented in art as she is. Seeing her artwork made me feel a bit inadequate. How does one deal with this type of feeling?

You could always compare your accomplishments to someone who has worse accomplishments, but that will only make you feel good temporarily.
It's best to just remember that it's a huge world, and as long you compare yourself to others, you'll end up pretty depressed. Don't let anyone else's success make your success less valuable.

Once the shock of 'old friend's' accomplishment has passed,

start concentrating on how you, too, are capable of so much more than you thought you were, initially.

You didn't realize just how much 'old friend' was able to do....

Now you understand just how much you can do, how very well; way beyond your initial expectations.

Please stop saying 'I'm not as talented as she is." 'cause you're limiting yourself to imitating her. But that's not what you do best. You're at your best when you create things from within your own inner-self.

People are like that. They do really good just when nobody expects it. And that includes you, when you're hitting your stride in something creative that makes you feel excited and fulfilled!

Now get started realizing your dream!!

Peace be with you.
