Why does she like me?

I met this girl on Facebook the other day, she's 16, I'm 14. We really hit it off, and she's just the nicest person. I originally found her and added her because she commented on one of my pictures on a public page and said that I was cute. We have so much in common, it's bizarre. She's called me cute or adorable several times. Right now I think of her as a REALLY great friend, but I don't know. She also has a boyfriend, though he lives in New York, all the way across the country from us (we both live in California) It's weird, whatever I say to her, she says back to me, all the feelings are mutual, besides this one of course. And I'm not sure if I like her in that way... What do you think she wants?

Some girls just like to play with a boy's heart. I'm not saying this girl is, I'm saying be careful. You are in a really good place to get hurt. I had the same thing happen to me. I had fallen in love with this girl and she had a boyfriend, she knew how I felt, even said that these feelings were somewhat mutual. A couple of months go by and she breaks up with her boyfriend. She was a wreck, but I was there for her. We started talking about dating and being together. Then one day she just stopped talking to me. And I found out her and her boyfriend got back together. This all took place over 3 years. My point is, be careful. Don't mess with girls who have boyfriends, it doesn't end well for anyone and you literally waste time. I wish I would have known that when I was younger.
