How to hide facebook profile from facebook search results ?
I have hidden my facebook profile from public search engines like google, but I don't know how to hide my facebook profile from the facebook search tab. A 'friend' who I had not yet added typed in my name on the facebook search and found me there when I thought that my profile was hidden from facebook search!

you can’t completely remove your name from the Facebook search results, however you can easily limit the number of people who can search for your profile. The process is pretty simple .. just Go On Facebook Then choose Settings Then Privacy Settings Then Search . See the value of Facebook Search Results to be Only Friends. This will allow only your Friends to find you on Facebook Search results

it is not possible to hide from the search from using privacy option only. It is only possible if u block a person then he/she can't find u in facebook or you need disable your facebook temporarily or you need to delete your account.

its imposibol u cant delete ur self from the facebook search results!!
