Facebook's timeline is permanent once you have switched to it. There's no turning back nor a way to turn it off. That's the new look of facebook so like it or not you have to live with it.

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update
this guide will help you learn how to use it http://abrax.us/Facebook/TimelineChecklist.php it's really not that bad once you get used to it |

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT.
If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you CAN. Check out this website - http://www.techtipsandtricks.tk - and click on the "remove timeline view from facebook" link, make sure that the browser name in the link corresponds with the browser you use the most. You're welcome |

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are. |

Yes this feature can be annoying for some, many people have been asked ‘how to uninstall’ or disable this new Facebook Timeline from profile since they find it hard to adapt to something too new so soon. here are the steps:
