How does Facebook generate the list of 10 Facebook friends on the left side of my profile?
I notice that most of the time its my best friends or people I've recently viewed. Sometimes its a girl I know is interested in me? I'm curious to how it works!

It mainly uses math to figure out who it displays. They also use math to show who's new to put on your news feed and if they see you on theirs!
