How to leave groups on the new facebook?

I've been invited to join a group that I want to join but I keep getting the message saying I'm apart of too many groups and I have to remove some. It's complicated to me on how to remove groups on the new version of Facebook.

This is quite a palaver, but it is doable. Here is the 3-step process:

Go to your main news feed page on Facebook. In the left had bar, you see your main links - messages, event, friends etc. At the bottom of this list there is a link to "see more" - click it:

You will now see a link for "Groups". Click this link and it will show, first all your outstanding group invites, then all the groups you are a part of.

If you click on the offending group that you are a part of, and scroll down to the bottom of the content in the left hand sidebar. There is a link here to "Leave group"
