If a boy doesn't text you, but speaks to you a lot in person, does it mean anything?

Hi, so I recently met this boy at a school party about a month ago, and he gave me his number. Although we texted a lot in the first week, we've met up once just us two to watch a movie and hang out afterwards, and another time with a group of friends at a party. We get along really well in person, however we stopped texting and don't talk on facebook? Is this much to worry about? Or is he just that sort of person?

Constant texting is stupid, immature and pointless, except to pass important messages on, like 'Can't meet you at 5, is 6 OK?'

I do this to one of my female friends. Me personally i do it because i like her as a friend, and i feel like if we text we are gonna like each other as more than "friends". thats why i dont text her. I bet he likes you as a friend but dosent want you as more than a "friend",
