How to be friends with a girl who does not usually talk to strangers/boys?

I have a crush on this girl, she is new i my school. I tried sending her a friend request on facebook, so i chat with her and get to know her, but she declined the request, and one of her friends told me that she did that because she don't usually talk to strangers. So i left the matter, its been 1 week now. And i really like her. Can anyone tell me what to message her and convince her that i am a good friend or whatever? Please help.

If she won't answer you directly I say try talking to her friends more. From there she will start to notice you more and then maybe you won't become such a "stranger" to her. Just don't take everything up on Facebook, talk to them in school or w.e the case may be. Makes them getting use to you much easier.

hmm wierd. She maybe have some trust issues going on.

I would try approaching her maybe from the hallway during break and just start off by saying hi and introduce yourself, just look confident approaching her and not look like a stalker.

Also it seems that you know one of her friends. Bring that up. "Am I friend of BLANK. you know her/him right?". Just talk to her like one of your friends. be casual and friendly, don't be flirty. girls are good at sensing that kind of stuff.
