Facebook Problem! Please help?

I have a facebook problem.
So the other day i sent a girl i know a friend request. According to facebook she hasnt accepted it BUT in my newsfeed i get her notifcations - "*Name* has liked a picture" or "*NAME* has become friends with ...... "
Then today, i sent another girl a friend request i know, and she accepted it - it came up on my notifcations, and email. When i click on her profile and refresh the page it still says "Friend request pending".
Any ideas why this is happening??

You would have to contact Facebook with that issue

It seems to be a common occurance. Unless that person who you sent a friend request has high priviacy settings (ie. Only friends can see) then you will be able to see their activity regardless of whether or not they accept your request
