Well it may sound weird. im a girl and i created a twitter saying that i was a boy and got into a fanbase. im not a lesbian at all, i just wanted some attention. i gained a lot of followers, but i feel wrong about doing this and i think my older brother saw the twitter and - he's gay - i think he now thinks i'm a lesbian. i want to delete the twitter, but at the same i dont want to, its a lotta fun. but i dont want him to think im a lesbian. what should i do?? and dont tell me to tell him im not a lesbian or to tell him i created the twitter for attention. should i deactivate it?

Personally I suggest that you either delete it and create a whole new one other wise sorry to say but I would ask him if he saw it and if so explain to him what you did and why...

You might as well deactivate it, but unless you tell him that your not a lesbian, he may just keep on thinking that you are.

If you start a story with a lie, you have to have a good memory to keep it up. Delete the whole thing, and start over with truth.

He's your brother right? Your blood brother?! If my sister did this and she told me she did it for fun, just for kicks, i'd say "whatever floats your boat". he'll prolly be cool with it. Just be honest to your brother and tell him its for fun, no im not a lesbian, pure fun. Guanarntee you, unless he's a total a$$hole, he'll be cool with it. You girls over think how brothers will react to the tiniest things just because we might beat your boyfriends head in if he hurts you physically, emotionally and/or both. Just tell him. it'll prolly calm anythoughts in his head. xD

I'd be very careful doing this sort of thing. However you look at it, the undeniable fact is that you are having fun deceiving people. While I can't see any harm in playing with identities, there comes a point when you engage other people's feelings and they might feel dreadfully let down when they realise you have been lying about yourself to them. There have been several high profile cases recently where individuals have found it impossible to resist taking to this next level and beyond, pursuing serious relationships in the other persona.
There is a way you can do this safely, and that is to write novels.
