Facebook profile changed to timeline by itself?

I just went on and when i checked my profile it is now changed to timeline. I dont want this timeline is so shit. How did it change by itself are facebook doing this to all users. How can i change it back?

Hello! Unfortunately everyone's Facebook profiles are receiving the new Timelines. A quick Google found the page below. It appears to be a browser plugin to make it look like the original profile. I have not been able to test this and so I am not sure how safe it is but it shows that maybe if you do a bit of research you might be able to find your answer. Hope this helps!

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent

There is no way to avoid it, as Facebook are converting everyone to Timeline by the end of this Autumn (Fall) and theres also no way to remove Timeline, however If you dont like the double column layout of timeline you can revert to viewing all timeline pages in a single column layout format, if you install the highly rated and well respected FB Purity web browser extension:
