How to stop my obsessive thought?
It's the holidays at the moment and whilst my break from school (9th grade) 've been trying to change myself. Since the start of the year, i've been pretty depersonalized and boring, and it's all because i am a heavy thinker. A group of people at school who I liked inspired me to change. So i've made a kickstart this holidays to try and change myself, and instead of over-thinking about nearly everything, and start living and taking action. But last night, a girl who I used to hang around that used to be boring like what I was and wasn't outgoing at all, tagged me in a facebook comment. I don't mind her, but ever since that, I can't stop remembering the sad and mundane person I used to be when I hung out with her, and by remembering that i'm slowly becoming like her, and it's stressing me out!! I want to get her out of my mind, and it's annoying me more and more. Now my attitude has gone back to depressed like I was! How do I stop this obsessive thought of going back to that person?!

First, you are analytical, and you also might have Anxiety/Depression/Adhd/Ocd, etc..... So, I can tell you right now, you cannot fix this with out help, you cannot do this yourself, you need professional help, see your personal Doctor, tell him these things. Good luck!!!!

Stop bothering your self so much with the past.

If you are trying to become a different person, then you have to accept the person that you were up until this point.

You can't erase the past, that person that your were really did exist. Just accept it, and accept that you are shedding that image- and get to work.

Occupy your time and mind with something- if you are getting depressed over the past; but it you can't get your mind off of it; professional help may be required.
