Ramadan: Should I wear my Hijab or not?
Dear sisters, I am so confused at the moment! I don't know what to do. Today I started college and I decided not to wear the hijab, I've worn it for a year and that's basically it. I decided not to wear because I 'thought' I wasn't ready for it. I felt so dreadful for the entire day. I felt humiliated and I felt as if I've let down Almighty Allah. I cried and cried help when I got home. I know that my mother was kind of disappointed with me. I also felt weird because I only wear my Hijab at school and if I go out on the weekend I don't wear it. In the morning, I was walking to college. Lots of men were staring at me and I felt terrified of what I have got my self into. I don't know what to do now. My sister explained to me what great sin it is. I am so confused because I went to college without a Hijab.

Another question sisters, is using Facebook, Twitter haraam or accepted? If you use it for good? What if you put picture of yourself?

There is no obligation to wear a haijb in Islam!

No where is the word Hajkib stated.

A veil is NOT a hajib no matter how much sugar one puts on it!

And what are you saying to the girls who do not wear a Hajib - they are ugly, sl*ts and Allah does not love them?

That is the message becuase muslim girls who wear the Hajib think they are beautiful, pious, virginal, protected and Allah loves them...

Next time you talk to your friends who do not wear a hajib - remember the message!

And remember it is not an obligation to wear a Hajib!

In my opinion, it is better to wear it all the time when you are in public, regardless of where you are.

We are told to dress modestly and that does not automatically mean wearing a hijab but it definitely helps keep you extra modest that way so you won't get unwanted attention.

Peace be upon you.

It's good that you realized your sin, this is one important step to repent. No need to follow the steps of Saitan, be in Allah's side. Wearing Hijab is an obligation in Islam so now all you can do is wear the Hijab again and repent to Allah (SWT) and insha'Allah he will forgive your sin.

BTW the user Light is not a Muslim he is an islamophobe that's why he is telling you to not wear it.

You poor immature little girl you are totally unprepared for life and I cannot believe you are old enough to be in collage.
People look at each other - that is what humans do it is not cause to be “terrified”.
Humiliation should not come from looking like every other normal person on the street.
Adults are perfectly capable of deciding to use social media or not.

Assalamu alaykum Really if you have grown up Muslim girl you have the obligation to wear hijab/jilbab based on the command of Allah in the Qur'an among others surah 33 Al Ahzab verse 59..If you do not adhere to the command of Allah (wearing hijab)you will have great sins The command of Allah is the most important You feel so dreadful the entire day if you wear hijab but it depends on its model and its stuff It is not so dreadful compared to the punishment in the hellfire You must wear it at home and going out to school at school and to public places, except you are bathing and you are at your own room You must feel ashamed if you do not wear it Your mom and your sister's opinion is right Using facebook and twitter depends on your intention
If you use it for making good relationship and you want to increase your knowledge ,it is halal but if you want to use it for porn issues,it will be haram You can put your own picture but you must wear hijab so it is okay
