How to know if a guy fancies a guy (gay)?

I know this is gay stuff but I want to know.

My friend came up to me yesterday morning at school and said me that this guy said I am "cute". I was very happy of course because I never thought I am beautiful and someone would find me "cute". This guy talked to me on Facebook after school yesterday and said to me how my friend talked to me about what he said to her and all that. He was using "awwwws" and smileys such as ":(" which made me think he's gay.

On the next day, which was today, my friend (different one) came up to me and told me the same thing; she and her friend was walking outside during lunch time yesterday and this guy approached them. He asked my friend's friend if she knows me but my friend replied "yes and he's gay", he said "really?" and my friend replied with "yes, 100%, he's my bestfriend..why?" and he said "i think he's cute" and smiled.

According to my friend, her friend told her that he's gay. So I was like, "ok" about it.

He's my friend on fb and ive been looking through his profile and he seems not gay, but based on me and his convo, and my 2 friends have said to me, it gives me an impression that he's gay. :/

anyone? what dyou think?

I dont need bashers and sh!t comments from people. I just want an honest opinion about this.

Yes, probably, all the evidence seems to point that he is gay. But I wouldn't act on or believe any of it unless he comes to you and tells you in person. Remember to not treat him differently or look down on him because of his sexual affiliation ok? Treat him with respect if you are a good person.
