How do I adjust the privacy settings on a pre-existing Facebook wall post?

I have a certain post on my Facebook wall, and I am about to add a friend. I want this new friend to be able to see my wall with the exception of this post, and I would rather not delete this post. I know you can fiddle with the privacy settings prior to making a wall post in order to hide the wall post you are about to make from certain people, but are you able to do so after the post has already been placed on your wall?

Unfortunately, nope. Once it's there, its settings are not changeable.
