How do I gain more Twitter followers?

I've done many different things to try and gain followers, I don't really have any luck. If you have any tips please tell me. Feel free to follow me though, you don't have to! http://twitter.com/#!/fujiapplepear

Always keep your profile off private and follow ANYONE you can that say they'll follow back. It'll most likely say #teamfollowback on their bio. But I'm pretty sure you've already done this, haha. Just follow a bunch of people and I'm sure in a few days you'll have much more followers.

You're going to find the twitter follower "numbers game" to be fairly pointless in the long run. Anyone who follows you who is following more than a couple hundred people isn't really reading what you're saying anyway.

If you want more followers who are really paying attention, first start by following people who are talking about topics you find interesting. Use hashtag searches/columns to find these people. Then start tweeting by having something interesting and helpful to say using the same hashtags.

But, if what you're really interested in is the number and not anything more interesting, then what you can do is follow anyone who follows more than 10,000 people. If you follow them, they'll follow you back. Then you can all follow each other, your number will increase, and none of you will be paying attention for it to matter.

Here are some tips to get more followers on Twitter;

1. Tweet interesting stuff, and make sure to get your tweets retweeted by others. Retweets can extend your reach. Remember that time is precious and people need to get something out of the time they spend with you.
2. ReTweet messages.
3. Use hashtag
4. Follow people with the same interests
5. Share your Twitter profile in other social media platforms.

I use a website called twiends: http://twiends.com/me/KrAzY_aFrIcAN you basically sign up then you have choices of either buying followers, waching youtube videos, following people or referring people. When you follow someone you earn seeds from them, and vica versa when they follow you. You can decide how many seeds you want to offer per follow, and when you run out you remain on the list so people can still follow you if they like. its really good when i first made a twitter i was dedicated to getting followers and in a week i had over 800 but i ended up deleting it because i really never used it. I got back on today and got about a 100 followers. you just have to put in time to get the results that you want...hopes this helps!

The only thing that I am doing is to post inspirational quotes for my followers. I really do not have to think about it since I can get free inspirational quotes here http://mysocialinspiration.com/. Works for me =) have a bunch of follows in each day.
