My facebook notifications are acting strangely?
Recently I've been getting notifications like 'someone has commented on your post' and when I go to the post it's not showing any comments, it also won't let me comment on posts but when I go on someone else's computer it all shows up.
I've also just tried to upload a profile picture and it wouldn't show up on my computer. I tried this again about 3 times and nothing came up, although I'm worried that it will show up 3 profile pics for everyone else :') This is making facebook virtually unusable for me and it's the only free way I can contact my friends and people at work except from email and I'd really like to know what I need to do to get these weird glitches out of the way. I've tried opening facebook on chrome, firefox and even internet explorer to see if it works but it doesn't on any of them can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks in advance! Ads |

There are a few things you can do to fix the issue. I can't tell exactly what's going on from your description, but you can do a few things to fix the issue.
First, restart your computer and your browsers. This will most likely fix the issue because the cache is getting too large and complex for Facebook. Next delete all your cookies for Facebook (a good program for this is CCleaner if you're not to good with computers). Also, people may delete comments before you can actually view them, but they will still show up in your notifications. If the problem continues then go ahead and contact Facebook because it may be something on their end. Ads |

You probably need to go and edit what you are notified about. If you have lists, such as family or close friends, then you will be notified when they update their staus etc, even if if has nothing to do with you. Just mess around with settings and all that, took me a while to deal with it too.
