I don't think you can add FOLLOWERS, they have to follow YOU... However YOU can FOLLOW others...

BTW, you can simply unfollow them or block them if you don't want them on your account later on. Blocking them will make the people aware that you blocked them, though, so try to choose wisely the first time around.
