I can suggest you by unfriend them,thats the only way to delete them.

just go on their profile and on the bottom left it says unfriend, duh

Go to your facebook friend list and click unfriend. this is the only way you can delete them

2. Hover over the Friends box at the top of their profile (timeline)
3. Click Unfriend
