For the past few days, when my fiance logs out of his Facebook account,?
the logout ad that appears is from Match.com. I have never seen this ad when I sign out of my account . I know that Facebook targets some ads based on demographics like age and sex but also on personal interests (and many claim they can acquire this information from your searches outside of Facbeook). Does the fact that he gets this Match.com ad mean that he has visited Match.com or dating sites recently?

Most ads on line are COMPLETELY RANDOM, even if they claim to be related to key words. It could be something stupid like he recently said "I had just one single piece of pizza left on my plate and the woman asked if I wanted to take it home" and the search algorithm spots the words "single" and "woman".

If you're that insecure, maybe you and he need to have a serious talk about this relationship. Why are you watching him so closely when he's on line anyway?

And btw, if you use Firefox and install the AdBlock option, neither of you will see ANY ads on Facebook or on any other site.

We have no idea... certainly not something to worry about... even if he was he could be looking with a friend and not for himself (you know boys share this stuff too)

The cookies on my computer are all messed up too!!
For the past week or so all my ads have been in spanish. I don't speak or read spanish and don't think I have ever been on a spanish website.
And about two weeks ago I was searching "dishwasher rack sizes" because I heard that Bosch brand are smaller but I got this full page Trojan condom ad... I guess it was due to the "rack size"... I have no idea.

depends.. what is his settings? anything from unfiltered 3rd party ads to 'status' such as single or looking in his profile can cause this.

then again seems facebook is becoming an insecure and out of date spamhaus.

sad.
