It really bugs me! People join the most pointless groups ever, and it just clogs up the newsfeed! I wish there was some way of hiding this, without actually blocking people who join the groups. Anyone else get annoyed by this, and what are you other facebook pet hates?

They do it just to look either smart,cultured..or dumb.
How often do you see "Billy Bob likes Monet" when they dont have clue except that hes an artist and want to look impressive to other people? Too much! lol xx |

Just quit facebook if you so easily annoyed. They do it for the fun of it. What else do you expect them to do?

Yes it annoys me because you can't hide their 'likes' without hiding the person. At least with things like MafiaWars and Restaurant City you can choose to hide the application so that when people post all their stuff about it, it no longer appears in your newsfeed. They should do that with the 'likes' too - just because someone is our friend, doesn't mean we agree with all their sad little obsessions and my friends like some of the stupidest things (like Marmite..........do we really need to know that? I don't think so!)
