Can anyone immediately explain to me about this whole facebook privacy change?

What exactly changed? I see many people are flipping out at this privacy change or whatever, but I don't know what changed. Someone please explain to me?

you scroll over settings and it will say account settings, privacy settings,application settings,help and click privacy settings and then you do all the stuff u want 2 put on private and then when you change if or not people can search u up and if they do and u changed that they will see ur pic, but cant be friends with u .

The change is: if you're page is private, people can now see what groups you're a member of, and what fan pages you're a fan of. They can also see who your friends are.
