facebook privacy help?

I have a facebook and i am sort of confused with all the privacy settings... I wrote on somebody's wall and then told my friend to go to my facebook and "look who's wall I wrote on!" haha... and they could not see it. They are not friends with that person, but they could see someone else's wall that I wrote on that wasn't their friend either... so what's up with that!? And I fooled around with all the privacy settings and put that "everyone" could view all of the stuff on my page... and still she couldn't see.

Although everyone can see your page, that doesn't mean you'll be able to see other peoples. Maybe the pages your friend has come across were all set to "everyone." Some people change their settings to "only friends" to avoid dramatic issues, such as the person whose wall you wrote on.
