I only want my friends to her able to see my profile pic... I have got it on friends but i doesn't work

Your current profile picture is public, and there's no way to prevent people from seeing it. You can, however, keep people from seeing comments and likes:

If it's online it's public even if you set it so only your friends can see it. Profile pictures are public during any point they are you profile picture.
