Should i add this guy on facebook?

Okay, this guy i have a crush on is my college classmate, he doesn't know i like him, but we sit next to each other everyday and we talk and joke and we're good friends, i want to add him on facebook so maybe i can start talking to him outside of school, but he has a girlfriend and i'm afraid that if i add him he's gonna think i like him or have an interest in him, which i do, but i don't want him to know, since he has a girlfriend. i know i'm being stupid, but i really like him. Should i add him?
