do you get a Facebook timeline automatically?

i didnt even click get a timeline on Facebook, and then when i signed in today it said that i upgraded to timeline, and it will be live in 7 days. is Facebook doing this automatically? is everyone going to get it soon?

Yes you get the timeline automatically. Facebook doesn't really give you options when it comes to functionality changes like Timeline.

funny because when I made my new facebook page...it didn't change to the timeline thing at all....

Facebook will move everyone to the timeline eventually.

Yes. I don't want it, but the next thing I knew I had it. If you create a new one, you won't but eventually that one will be changed.
