can you change the privacy settings on facebook to private once you've posted something on somebody elses wall?

i posted something on a friends wall that i says it is now shared with that persons friends of friends, i want it to be just viewable by that one person, can i change it?

I'm actually not sure if you can, but what you can do if you want it private is to:
a) Delete the post on your friend's wall
b) Send her a message with the content on the original post.
This way, it is only visable to her eyes. No one else can see your messages, and she can reply, too. If you want more than one person to see it, send it to everyone else you want to see the message.
