How do I get more followers on twitter?

I have no idea how lol I have sent my twitter thing to everyone and still only have 15 followers I always follow back. http://twitter.com/Christie_H27 Here's my link plz tell me how to get more followers.

Follow a lot of people and they might follow you back I joined some clubs of my favorite shows/bands/etc and they followed back. Try that. Or just talk to random people and maybe they'll follow you soon enough.

Sites and groups that claim to get you more followers are usually not worth the effort, as many of them make you follow every person who joins the group. The way that I got over 100 followers already after starting from humble beginnings is by the following methods:
a) Don't tweet excessively, but update at least once a day to keep people interested.
b) Tweet about either trending topics or topics that interest you by using hashtags (#)
c) @ reply to people that you find when using Twitter search to search the topics you like. You will find that many people enjoy your interests!
d) Once people start following you, be sure to follow them back (unless they are spammers). They may recommend you to their own followers as someone who follows back.
e) Get your friends to join Twitter as well- this is probably the hardest step! So many people I know don't want to invest time in Twitter, but once you build up enough of a network, it is definitely worth it! You can get lots of information and make new friends!
