I want to go to 'Hospitality' (Rave) but I know my girlfriend wont let me...?

Basically on the 26th Oct, Hospitality (Drum and Bass event) are featuring in Oxford.

Loads of my university friends are going to it (since we all graduated it would be a great reunion) except my girlfriend is a bit of a control freak and extremely anti-drugs.

In the past I used to smoke fair amount of weed (4-5 a week) and she wanted me to give it up. Which I said I did but stupidly lied to her which still to this day (6months on) it has led to trust issues. I know if I asked her to go she would freak out and although I probably would take some MDMA, its not like I haven't done it before and my whole group has always been extremely careful etc.

I've tried to explain to her that weed is no worse than alcohol but she still freaks out saying its illegal for a reason and all that crap so its obviously worse for you etc. So there is no way I can explain it to her without her freaking out which makes me wonder what can I do.

I was thinking I can either make an excuse for that Friday night and saying that I'm working (we are in a long distance relationship) so she doesn't find out... however one picture or status on facebook mentioning me would ruin me. or I could be open saying I'm going to a DnB event with loads of my uni friends but you have nothing to worry about etc etc.

I just don't know how to play it, I really want to go but I want to keep her sweet. She is great and I do love her but she can be very annoying sometimes! Just some advice on how to play it would be appreciated it!
+ forgot to mention since we are in a long distance relationship, work etc usually weekends is when we are meant to see each other. But this would take up Friday and realistically whole of saturday, which makes situation even harder! I could say I'm working Friday morning and sat morning then could say since I'm working next morning can't go too far so I'll see few mates on on friday night so that could be a good way to go about it? I don't know, fortunately I have a bit of time to construct an answer! Help Meeeee lol!

Just tell her your going to a reunion, & you're all going to the concert. That way, you can enjoy yourself free from the guilt & tension of lying to her.
