Facebook question... How do i cange my facebook privacy settings?
I want to set it so people who are not friends cant see any information about me, my groups or any other info and im trying to set it so people who are not my friends can not see my friend list.

Also if i block someone can they find me in user search or see my posts to groups that we are both members of?

Top left hand corner:
Settings
Privacy Settings
Then click Profile Information and change everything to 'Only Friends'
I think everyone can see your friend list and yes I think they can find you on the user search and see your posts to groups that we are both members of.

I hate the new facebook privacy settings dont you? There are many options taken off, but what you ask seems reasonable enough Smile

Go on facebook settings, privacy settings and make sure all of them are listed as 'friends only'

Also, if you block someone they cant ever find you in a user search and even if they read your posts they cannot click onto your name, or comment or do anything about it Smile

Hover over "Settings" in the top right corner, and click Privacy Settings in the menu that appears.

Click Profile information when the Privacy settings page appears.
Here you can control who sees what, and you can now use custom settings and hide things even from selected people you are friends with.
At present i dont think there is an option to stop people seeing your friends list.

You can also edit your block list from the Privacy Settings page.
If you block someone, all facebook ties that you have are broken (i.e no longer friends, no longer share app information).
They also cannot see your profile or anything you post anywhere including on the walls of their friends or groups, and they also cannot find you in search. You also cannot see anything that they post on your friends' pages or on groups that you are both in.
