What's going on? Am I cute or what?

Last week, right before the spanish lesson, Me and a friend of mine heard the word "cute" along with my name. After class, a group of girls said hi to me while I was on my way to the toilets, and then I heard somebody say "he's cute". Then, today I got a facebook message (facerape, obviously). It said "you're really cute". Even though the message was fake, I wonder if it has something to do with something. Is it a way to put all of this together, logically?

No, "cute" is tragically over-used by females in your age group; sometimes a word is just a word.
