How do I take my Facebook profile off time line?

I just went on facebook one day and saw that the original layout for my profile, had changed to a timeline view. How do I change it back? I thought that it might have done it for everyone's profile, but I looked at my bf's facebook profile and his isnt a timeline.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT.

If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you CAN.
