how to get rid of the facebook timeline?

this guy on my facebook wants to get rid of the timeline. i heard if you get it manually, it becomes a week trial or something. can you get rid of it, and how do you get rid of it once you get it,

I don't think you can get rid of it. I have it and it doesn't say anywhere that you can rid of it.

it isn't a week trial. if you get it manually, it stays private for a week so you can edit it to your liking, and when that week is up it goes public.

you can't get rid of it. it is the new facebook. it's honestly not a very big deal, tell your friend to take it like a man.

there is no way to get rid of it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook

It isn't a weekly trial. You now have it. I updated mine too and I hate it! You can't so anything about it accept make a new Facebook. I hate it. Also eventually all of Facebook will have it.
