Was I wrong in this long conversation? It deals with God and stuff...?

I posted this tweet on twitter last night "Hypocrites, two-faced, ignorant, closed minded, greedy= Most Christians. I believe in god don't get me wrong. But look around you, seriously"

And I wake up to a really long text message from this girl that I went to prom with, who I don't even talk to anymore.

Her:"I know I havent talked to you in awhile but I've felt the need to text you. Im sorry you have come encountered with as many misleading christians as you have but to tell you the truth some just happen to be the way you say. But I believe this will help you better understand things better... Narrow is the path to heaven for eternal life in paradise that very few will take and wide is the one for those who deny jesus as their savior and reject a relationship with him which takes them to hell and destruction.

Me:"I can appriciate the kind words of others, be open minded enough to listen to another's belief, try and see things from other points of views and understand where they're coming from and be completely okay with someone who is completely different than me. But the fact of the matter is how many church goers are willing to do the same. To learn from others outside of their own beliefs, rather than saying "Well the Bible says this..." most of the christians I know are just like that. and the ones that arent well, those are the ones that put on there sunday smiles and then come out of church only to be an as.s hole or a w.hore or to get wasted with there friends. I don't come upon many who are just open arms to anyone and everyone, no matter what their beliefs. If anything would please God more I think loving someone no matter who they are and accepting them even if theyre not christians themselves, even if they don't believe in a God, rather than throwing bible verses at them.

Her:"Jeremy I did not text you to bash you. I love every person no matter what they do or who they are but no I will not except all the things they do and are. but you did happen to say most christians are the way which you say and you have only encountered very few. I've been that type of Christian myself which actually isnt a christian at all but I just put on the front for others but I did not have a true understanding of what being a christian really was. I have been through alot when I was like that since I always searched for satisfaction in my friends, drinking, smoking, being cool, but the only thing that has any true satisfaction and has changed me from all that was the bible thats why I gave you a snippit of it. I'm not here to throw things at you Im here to give, I gave you a piece of the most precious thing I have, You say be opened minded you say look into what others are going through but before you blame them make sure you're doing the same yourself."

Me:"I think It's safe to say that I never hung out with my friends and got drunk or high growing up, and the way I see it. I have no room to judge anyone because if I were out, Im sure I would be judged on a daily basis. I've been to a pride parade only to see christians holding up picket signs telling me that i'm going to hell if I don't change my ways. I've seen the worst imaginable christians ever. and im not directing that to all of them. Some are the sweetest people i know. and as for the bible i don't believe its the exact word of God. For as many years as its been passed down anyone couldve thrown in their two cents worth. It's been written by thousands of authors and its also missing books. In leviticus its an abomination to eat shellfish? I'm not bashing christianity because I'm christian. Im just saying a lot of christians are complete hypocrites and don't practice what they preach.

Her:"Honestly they're right, you will go to hell since you are a homosexual. And eating shellfish thats not even in the bible. but I though you believed in God. Don't you think that in his power thats to big enough for anyone to imagine, wouldn't let his own written word be written incorrectly. You can sit and point fingers all day long at what people do wrong its not going to change a thing. The only thing you can change is yourself. Also the people who wrote the bible were chosen to write it by god himself. And also before Jesus came to this earth everything written that he was coming and what was going to happen happend. There is no other belief that has done that and everything else that has been predicted in the bible has happened or is beginning to so I'm definite no one can make it up. And being a hypocrite you are being one yourself because you wouldn't talk bad of other christians you would love them no matter what and you would not be homosexual. You be out giving a hand and helping others not typing on the computer about how imperfect the others ones are when you have no control over it. You would be g
