How do I block 1 of my friends from seeing my posts on Facebook?

I wanna block my dad from seeing my Facebook post but he is my friend and I dont want to unfriend him can anybody help me block him from seeing only that 1 post

on the status bar u customize it and type in the name

add him to your restricted list

but he's not going to like you doing that, because it defeats the whole purpose of him being your friend

You can have the option to individually change the audience of your posts. Just go to the post you want to change and choose a different audience.

Select the drop down arrow on the right-hand-side of the status updates select box. Select Customize from this list.
And then you will see
"Hide this from
These people or lists:add your dad's name and save it

Remember U have to do this for all status that U want to hide it from your dad's view.

If you want to hide all your post from your dad's view
then do the following changes

Go to the privacy setting by clicking the drop down icon on the top right hand side.
Under privacy setting you will find three options
* Public * Friends * Custom
Select the custom icon
And then you will see
"Hide this from
These people or lists:add your dad's name and save it.

You can create a restricted list and put him there. But let me tell you this that nothing is a full proof way of blocking your father from seeing your Facebook posts if he really wants to.
