Are social networking apps on the 5th gen iPod Touch free to use?
As in, can I use them outwith my home WiFi network? The Apple website boasts uploading pictures to facebook from anywhere you want, is this the case?
Also, I may as well ask this here too, is there any cases on the market for the new iPod Touch? Ads |

The apps are free to download and free to use. However you have to be near a wi fi area in order to use some of them, and you can't upload pictures from anywhere.

No, the only way for the iPod touch to connect to the internet is through WiFi. I think they mean you can upload them from anywhere there is a WiFi connection, but i do see than it can be misleading, and it should be removed from the site. At the moment, there is a limited amount of cases for the iPod touch 5, but in the next few months, they will be flooding in.
